We had a nice, laid back weekend. One of the big conquests was to get Joseph's swing up in the back yard. I didn't think the branch out there would work but it ended up being fine. It swings just a little crooked since one side of the chain is longer than the other - due to the angle of the branch...but I think we can rig something up to get it a little smoother. Joseph seems to love it already!
One of my other to-do's was to hit Home Depot for a black out shade for Joseph's room. I've still got two blankets hung up over the window and it's time for a more permanent solution! Ha. 
Found this *little* guy (actually he was BIG) on one of my plants on Saturday. Those green grasshoppers are so cute!
And last weekend was a nice laid back weekend also. We had the party for mom's birthday and had a great time! Love hanging out with the fam! Although we are missing little David...we got this shot of the grandparents and grandkids - thought it came out really nice. And shoo-weee, that banana split REALLY hit the spot! It was gooood!
Got Joey down for a nap now and we're going to run some errands later. I want to go to Half Price Books, Garden Ridge and possibly Party City if Garden Ridge doesn't have what I need. Getting ready for the little one's FIRST BRITHDAY! We'll see if we can sqeeze that all in while still in good spirits. I hate to run him ragged. Everything is just so much more pleasent with a happy baby and mommy!

Oh my goodness Joseph looks like he's grown a foot in the last week. He is soooo precious and I'm so happy he got his swing up! He looks like he's having a blast!!! And gettin ready for the 1st b-day party?!?!? Oh we CAN'T WAIT!!!! You're gonna make us wait to hear any details huh? ; )
oh p.s. your comments on my blog cracked me up. don't all kids use utensils by now?? and yes 19pds is in the 10th%. = ( Skinny Willy is he what he is. Ha ha! I can't wait to hug Joey and squeeze his cute squishy legs!!!! xoxo
