Smiles and Shots

Does anyone other than me ever pick up and hug the computer when you see a cute baby on the screen? Probably not. Especially if the baby is yours and you can just pick him or her up and hug them in person instead. And probably not because most people are a little more normal than me. But right now he is in bed and I am *this close* to hugging up our laptop!

Mr. Precious had his six month wellness checkup today. He handled it like a little champ. I got to drill Dr. Straughn with all my immunization/autism/toxicity questions and he was very kind about it all. It can become a lengthy conversation so after we talked for awhile he suggested that we make a separate appointment if we would like to talk about it more. I don't blame him since I know he needs to stay on schedule with his other patients. Anyway, Joseph got three shots and one oral vaccination. He didn't even know what happened on the first stick but the second and third kind of got his attention. He only cried for a few seconds then was smiling like normal. That was much better than the last round of vaccinations.


So, the official stats are:
Weight: 16lb 6oz
Length: 26.5 in
Up from 14lb 4oz and 24.25 in on his four month checkup. I think he is going to be tall and thin like his dad if he keeps up at this rate.
